Okay so I don’t mean like, website shrines exactly. Not fan shrines.
Sometimes I get this vibe where I want to play a video game about maintaining a weird shrine. (This has a lot to do with me having been involved in Neopagan polytheism way back in the day.) It’s like, okay, in this life I’m not a weirdo shrinekeeper living on a mountain top praying to Azura… but what if I was?
I have not yet found, nor made, exactly the ShrineKeeper Simulator of my dreams. But I do click around every now and then looking for games about shrines and temples and gods and offerings and so on. So, here’s a few bookmarks of cool an interesting things I’ve found.
The stuff I’m looking for isn’t “O FUCK KILL ALL THE MUMMIES IN THE ANCIENT TEMPLE”; it’s more like, religion roleplay and meditation. I dunno. You’ll see what I mean.
